You need to sing in lockdown!

As the latest report from the BBC highlights “singing helps with long-covid” but it is so much more. Singing releases endorphins in the brain which helps with positive mental well-being. You can sing online and you should connect with your friends to stay in touch.

Watch the BBC interview that features our CEO (Jonathan Eno BEM) and the Derby Gospel Choir. This is an inclusive choir with members from all over Europe that sing a variety of gospel and soul influenced songs. The online sessions are simply amazing and you can log in from anywhere in the world. There is a live band and choir to join in with. Why not reach out to their MD (Stuart McCrone) on derby@hhmusic.co.uk and book a trial session, you will enjoy yourself.

The benefits of singing from home are endless, including: a choice to sit or stand, a choice to have a glass of water or wine, the ability to involve your pets! In all seriousness, during such a challenging lockdown, it is worth remembering that “having fun” is key to making the most of our time together.
